    January 12, 2019, 9:00 AM - February 23, 2019, 12:00 PM @ Norton Elementary School Gym

    The Norton Parks and Recreation Department will offer a Boys and Girls Basketball League (ages 7 & 8). Registration forms will be available at Norton Elementary School and Norton Parks and Recreation Department, 201 Park Ave. NE. Games and practices will be held on Saturday mornings at the Norton Elementary Gym.     This is to advise that Norton City Offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 18, in observance of George Washington Day. The following garbage schedule will be followed during this holiday: Monday, Feb. 18: Regular residential and commercial garbage pickup. Residents are asked to have garbage set out by 8 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19: Recycling will be collected.
