Dog & Cat Tag / Licensing
- The City of Norton dog and cat license / tags are due by January 31 of each year.
- The dog and cat tags expire December 31.
- Verifications of rabies vaccination from a currently licensed veterinarian must be presented before a dog or cat tag can be issued.

- Three year - $20
Spayed / Neutered
- One year - $5
- Three year - $10

Norton Reservoir Fishing License
A county or state license must be presented to purchase a fishing license for the Norton reservoir.
Fees:
- City residents who are 65 and over or are a disabled veteran - Free
- Nonresidents over the age of 12 - $15
- Members of Old Dominion Sportsman Association - $5
- Resident over the age of 12 - $10
- Residents and nonresidents 12 of age and under - $0
