Join the City of Norton for its annual Holiday Storefront Decorating Contest. This year's theme is Christmas Memories. Decorate your storefront as your favorite Christmas memory. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30. If wanting to register, contact Rebecca Iozzi, Norton Parks and Recreation Director, at (276) 679-0754 or rmiozzi@nortonva.org, or stop by the Norton Community Center, 201 Park Ave. NE between 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Applications can also be completed online at this website. Judging will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1. Window display lights should be turned on for judging. Winners will be announced during the month of December. Monetary prizes and plaques will be awarded the top three winners: First Place: $200; Second Place: $100; Third Place: $75. The contest is free to enter and open to all businesses within Norton's corporate limits.
