Businesses in the City of Norton are invited to participate in the annual Norton Holiday Storefront Decoration Contest. The contest is free to enter. Prizes will include: 1st place: $500; 2nd place: $300; 3rd place: $200; Community Choice Award: $100. This year's theme will be Winter Lights and Magical Nights. Display a scene from your favorite Christmas story or movie. Be sure to use lots of lights! The deadline to register is Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022. Judging will take place Wednesday, Nov. 30. Prizes will be awarded to winners during Norton's Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3. Window displays should have their lights turned on for judging.

Additionally, a community event will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2. The public will be invited to join us for a tour of the decorated downtown businesses. Businesses are encouraged to stay open Friday, Dec. 2, to share with participants information about their display and hand out candy, cocoa, or coupons. Participants in the community event will also cast their votes for the inaugural Community Choice Award. Window display lights should also be turned on for this event. This event is sponsored by the City of Norton and Norton Lions Club.
